12x12 Photo Books - Graduation scrapbooking
12x12 Photo Books - Graduation Scrapbooking is a very special activity for parents and graduates. This can be made by parents and given to the child as a gift on this special day. Alternately, it can be the child who does this project. However, younger children may need assistance. They can be guided through out the process of completing it. There is certainly a feeling of accomplishment and pride for the graduates and most specially the parents. Capturing the details and locking it forever for the future and to relive and share the experiences is a selfless gesture. Furthermore, it’s an excellent way to keep the memories and feelings fresh. Being an important milestone in the life of the child (or young adult), stacks of photo kept in a shoebox just doesn’t seem appropriate. I recommend creating 12x12 Photo Books for Graduation photos. The 12x12 Books are great because you have plenty of room to place several pictures for each milestone. As you create your pages, you are able to use a main topic for the page. Then you can place photos of this event through the page. You may want to pay tribute to the graduate and all his or her hard work by organizing some of their mementos. Moreover, this will help them get in touch with themselves as they move to the next phase of their life. After all, graduation marks the beginning of a new life. Chronicling the child’s graduation does not have to be just the graduation day itself. It will be more interesting to include highlights of his journey. An excellent suggestion is to divide the project into 3 chapters or sections. The first can be the road to graduation. Here, focus on the life of the child while he is still studying. Friends, teachers, awards, special events and others can add a preview of what is in store. Of course, it will not be a graduation scrapbooking project without highlighting the graduation ceremony itself. Showcase the preparations before the event, perhaps the drive to the school or graduation hall, the ceremony itself, the party and celebrations after the ceremony and the good byes that usually takes place between friends. All these makes great sub-sections for this chapter. Finally, the last part can focus on the child’s wishes and dreams fro the future. Pictures of what the child’s future hold can dominate the section. You can place material on what school to attend next, what job to take, where to live and perhaps plans for a family can make a great ending. More than just pictures, add certificates, ribbons and other special documents into the projects. Remember that the 12x12 Photo Books provide you with plenty of room for these items. Unlike the smaller photo books that will leave you room for only one or two of them. Likewise, get other people’s inputs like anecdotes from teachers and friends, wishes from classmates, and even the graduate’s own thoughts. This compilation must be filled with memories of events and friends as well as the emotions that were present during this time. Immortalizing it through this project will not only preserve the memories, but it will also provide a great record of the life of a person.
