The larger one allows her to cut much larger paper and the smaller one does a nice job on smaller project. The reason I would recommend the Cricut is you will know if she has one of these. It is about the size of a computer printer or maybe a little larger. If she already has one of these items you could get her a carrying case or another item to go with her cricut.
