When is Mothers Day 2009?
It will be here before you know it. It's right around the corner on May 10th. I thought that I would put a page together for our husbands and children to help them find the perfect gifts for us moms.
So, I am going to make a few suggestions and review some Mothers Day Gifts that will make your moms and wives very happy this mothers day.
My first suggestion and this is my favorite. I love for my children to be creative and when they make me a gift by hand it is very special to me. If you are not able to purchase your mother a gift for Mothers Day, don't let it bother you. Your mom would love for you to create her a special mothers day craft or a personal gift. Here are a few ideas that may help you in getting your mom a great gift for her special day in 2009.
1.) Using a beautiful cloth, wrap a bar of soap and place ribbon around the wrapping. Cut out a piece of cardstock and punch a whole in one corner. Place a string through the punch and tie it to the ribbon. Write a special little message on the card and your mom will just love it.
2.) Get someone to take a photo of you and print it out from the computer or at the local photo shop. Glue the picture to a piece of card stock and cut the picture in the shape of a heart. Use ribbon to trim the edges of the heart. Place this on the right side of an 8x10 cardstock and fold in half like a greeting card. Write the message I heart you the hear will be the picture of you.
