Scrapbooking Paper Crafts & Embroidered Scrapbooking in your Scrapbook Theme

When you are Scrapbooking Paper Crafts you may want to try the idea of Embroidered Scrapbooking. There are many ways that you can incorporate embroidery with your scrapbook theme. Maybe you are building a scrapbook theme for your baby. Have you thought about using the embroidery that is on the baby clothes that they will never wear again. Adding these items to your scrapbook is a great way to preserve a memory. So you have a photo of your baby wearing a shirt that has an embroidered saying like "Auntie thinks I Special". For an example, see the below image.

Embroidered Scrapbooking Idea

You simply preserve a piece of their clothing by cutting out the embroidered area and use it in your babies scrapbook theme. You will not want to place the embroidered cloth directly on the paper. You will want to use an acid free adhesive to glue the cloth to a piece of card stock. This will help keep the cloth flat on your scrapbook page. You place the embroidered saying on the page and surround it with pictures of your baby. Try to use at least one photo of your baby wearing the outfit that featured the embroidered saying.

Embroidered Scrapbooking Idea For Digital Scrapbooking Software

Are you good with Paint Shop or a Digital Scrapbooking Software? Another idea is to take a close up picture of the embroidered item removing any wrinkles using your eraser tool. You can place a close up digital image of the item in your digital scrapbook page. You will still be able to sell the item at your yard sale.

My last tip for today is to actually embroider embellishments especially for your scrapbook theme. Sure you can purchase stick on embroidered items. However, it just seems to me that it means more when it is hand made by mom.
Happy Scrappin and I hope you all have a great day.
